About Sofi & Aarón

Sofi and Aarón are a bilingual Costa Rican couple dedicated to helping families from around the world feel at home in Costa Rica – not just as buyers or sellers, but as new members of the community.

Who we are

Aarón is a Costa Rican native who has been grateful for this country since he was a child. At five years old he was already teaching himself English so he could share his love for Costa Rica with visitors. That early curiosity and discipline led him into years of experience in the hospitality industry, where he developed strong public relations, service standards, and a genuine talent for listening to people’s needs.

Today, as part of the Blue Zone Realty International team, Aarón combines his local knowledge, hotel background, and real estate training to guide clients through every step of buying or selling a home. His focus is simple: clear communication, honest advice, and making sure clients feel supported from the first message to the closing table – and beyond.

Sofi spent six years as a Spanish teacher, helping foreigners not only learn the language, but also understand how Costa Ricans really live, speak, and connect. She also served as vice president of an important nonprofit in Costa Ballena, working closely with the local community, organizations, and families.

Becoming a mother led Sofi to a new chapter: bringing her experience in education, community work, and culture into real estate. Her strength is integration – helping new homeowners understand daily life, customs, and the little details that make living in Costa Rica feel natural and welcoming.
